Recently, Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Defective Automotive Product Recall Management Regulations" and the "Implementation Measures of the Defective Automotive Product Recall Management Regulations".

It was decided to recall some imported new Ford F-150 Raptor vehicles produced between March 30, 2023 and April 3, 2023, starting from July 19, 2024, a total of 6 vehicles.

In some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the clock spring in the steering column control module is insufficiently welded, which may cause the driver's front airbag circuit to be disconnected and the airbag to fail in the event of a collision. If it is deployed normally, there is a safety hazard.

Ford Motors (China) Co., Ltd., through authorized dealers, will check the production date of the clock spring for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge. If it belongs to a defective batch, the clock spring will be replaced to eliminate safety hazards.

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will notify relevant users by registered mail or other means, and Ford Zongheng authorized dealers will proactively contact users to arrange free repairs.
