BYD Seal 07DM-i application picture equipped with fifth-generation DM technology

A few days ago, we obtained a set of BYD Seal 07DM-i declaration drawings from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website. The appearance of the new car is basically the same as that of the current Seal, but there are differences in power. The new car will adopt BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology.

In terms of appearance, the new car still adopts the marine aesthetic design concept. The headlights and lower fog light area adopt a new design. The raised lines on both sides of the hood and the concave shape below add to the sense of hierarchy. The closed grille represents its identity as a new energy vehicle.

Coming to the side of the car, the new car uses simple body lines to outline a strong and dynamic body posture. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are still 4980/1890/1450mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm.

In terms of power, the new car will be powered by 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid and 1.5T plug-in hybrid. The 1.5-liter engine has a maximum power of 74 kilowatts and is matched with a drive motor with a maximum power of 160 kilowatts; the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 160 kilowatts. 115 kW, matched with a drive motor with a maximum power of 200 kW.
