On April 25, Denza’s first sedan Z9GT was officially unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. Denza Z9GT is positioned as an intelligent luxury flagship sedan. The Z series is the sedan series of the Denza family. Z represents technology and extreme, 9 represents flagship model, and the GT suffix is a direct interpretation of the Grand Tourer luxury performance car.
The appearance of the new car was designed by a team led by BYD Global Design Director Wolfgang Egger. The front face of the new car adopts the Solar Diadem design language, and the overall shape is simple and dynamic. The long and narrow headlights make the front face look dynamic. In addition, the new car is equipped with an air intake grille at the bottom of the front face and a lidar below the brand photo frame.
On the side of the body, the new car adopts the elegant body shape of a GT sports car. The center of gravity of the body is relatively rearward, creating a backward leaning posture, which is very sporty. In addition, the popular frameless door and hidden door handle designs are not left out. Body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5180*1990*1500/1480mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3125mm. The new car is expected to be equipped with CTB battery body integration technology, and its space performance will also surpass traditional luxury cars.
As for the rear of the car, the rear windshield of the new car has a sharp slope, and the upper edge is an exaggerated spoiler. There is a decorative strip in the same color as the body inside the taillight group, which is full of luxury.
It is worth noting that the new car has an "e³" logo on the rear. According to the "Yi Sifang" technology that has been looked up to, "e³" may be BYD's unique power system with three motors as the core independent drive. It is said that the functions achieved by "e³" even surpass those of "Easy Sifang", and this is just one of the million-level new energy technologies of Denza Z9GT. Able to achieve an Elk test score of close to 90km/h and a minimum turning radius of less than 5 meters, Denza Z9GT must be equipped with more million-level black technologies.
In terms of power, according to previous declaration information, the new car will be equipped with three motors, three The peak powers of the motors are 230kW, 240kW, and 240kW respectively, and the horsepower will be as high as nearly a thousand horses. In addition, the official said that it provides two types of power: pure electric and plug-in hybrid.
At the same time, Denza Z9GT provides multiple lidar options, and is very likely to be equipped with the "Eye of God"-DiPilot 300 high-end intelligent driving assistance system to achieve high-speed navigation and urban driving.With full-scenario driving assistance such as navigation, valet parking, and narrow passage, the intelligent driving capabilities have evolved from the first echelon to the leading industry, surpassing traditional luxury cars in an all-round way.
At the end of the press conference, Denza stated that it will be the world's first new energy luxury car brand covering all categories. Two sports car models will be released in the future.
