On September 12, we obtained a set of application drawings for Roewe's new new energy model Roewe D5X from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website. The new car adopts the latest family design language and is powered by a DMH hybrid system.
In terms of appearance, the Roewe D5X adopts the latest family design language and incorporates many very popular design elements. For example, we see that the new car’s headlights adopt a through-type design, with vertical air intake openings and trapezoidal air intakes, making the front face look domineering.
Looking from the side, the new car has smooth body lines and is equipped with the popular hidden door handles. At the rear, the new car uses a through-type taillight set that echoes the front face. DMH stated that it further proves the power system of the new car. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4700/1890/1664mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765mm.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a DMH hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 110 kilowatts and the drive motor has a maximum power of 153 kilowatts.
